Organic Raw Lucuma Powder

Lucuma is the powdered fruit of Pouteria lucuma, an evergreen tree which grows naturally in the Andean regions of South America. Sevenhills Wholefoods source Lucuma from Peru, where for many centuries it has been part of local cultures and diets.

Honoured since the time of the Incas, even today Lucuma remains popular in its native region where, thanks to its pleasant, custard-like flavour it is much used as a flavouring agent for ice cream.

Processing

Our Organic Lucumas are handpicked, cleaned and their seed is removed. The fruit is then dried where it can later be milled and packaged. 

Allergens

This product does not contain any substances causing allergies (Directive 2007/68/EC) as or intolerances as ingredients or by the possibility of cross-contamination. No colours, binders, fillers or preservatives added. Certified organic by the Soil Association and registered by the Vegan society. 

Suggested Use

It can also be added to juices and smoothies (up to 5g per day).
